Executive Jet Management, a subsidiary of NetJets and a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a highly qualified Pilot in Command for a Learjet 45XR based in Nashville, TN. This position operates under EJM’s Part 135 certificate, flying approximately 400-450 hours annually within a 3-pilot account. This is not a commutable position; successful candidates must reside in or relocate to the Nashville area.
The Pilot in Command is ultimately responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. This individual adheres to all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience. Responsibilities include ensuring crew and trip assignments are compliant, completing flight planning and performance calculations, utilizing TPC briefing methodologies, and adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures. The pilot will also manage aircraft pre-flight tasks, ground servicing, and passenger briefings, while consistently employing CRM and TEM principles.
Furthermore, this role requires a commitment to providing quality service to owners and passengers, proactively resolving service deviations, and collaborating with crew and internal partners. The candidate must maintain regulatory and company-required training, and actively participate in the company's Safety Management System.
Qualified applicants will possess prior experience in Part 135 operations, and an FAA Type Rating for the Learjet 45XR is preferred. Minimum experience requirements include 3500 hours total flight time, 1500 hours Multi Engine Land, 2000 hours Pilot in Command, 500 hours PIC Multi Engine Land, 300 hours Instrument, and 500 hours in Jet aircraft. Candidates must be able to perform all essential functions of the position.
