Learjet 45XR Pilot in Command - Nashville, TN

The company is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Learjet 45XR Pilot in Command (PIC) position based in Nashville, TN. This is a 3-pilot account, flying approximately 400-450 hours annually under EJM’s Part 135 certificate. This is not a commutable position; crew members must reside in or relocate to the Nashville area.
The Pilot in Command holds final responsibility for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. The PIC complies with all company and regulatory requirements while providing an exceptional service experience.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensures crewing and trip assignments are compliant with company and regulatory requirements, guaranteeing the safe operation of flight.
- Completes flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks as required.
- Utilizes Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead required briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Complies with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates with company personnel as required, acting as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completes all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including verification of the aircraft's maintenance status, to ensure mission readiness and records all aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Ensures all aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are monitored and completed according to SOPs.
- Conducts passenger briefings according to company policy and regulations, delivering the highest level of customer service and addressing any special passenger needs.
- Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate clearly and promptly with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Provides quality service to owners and passengers while identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience, investigating and resolving service deviations as needed.
- Collaborates with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to ensure a consistent service experience for owners and passengers, resolving conflicts and challenges constructively.
- Maintains regulatory and company-required training and currency.
- Complies with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reports safety or non-compliance concerns through the appropriate channels.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs):
- Prior experience in Part 135 flying is required.
- FAA Type Rating – Learjet 45XR is preferred.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
