Kalitta Charters, a distinguished charter aviation operator, is seeking a qualified Captain to command Learjet 45 aircraft for charter and air ambulance operations. This full-time, on-site Captain role is based in Ypsilanti, Michigan, offering a structured 2/2 roster and a competitive compensation package.

The Learjet 45 Captain will assume full responsibility for the safety and operational integrity of crew, passengers, cargo, and the aircraft during all flights. This position is integral to Kalitta Charters' commitment to excellence in aviation services.

Requirements

• Valid FAA Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating.
• Current First Class Medical Certificate.
• Possession of a valid, unrestricted U.S. passport.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• Minimum of 2,000 hours of total flight time.
• Minimum of 1,000 hours of multi-engine flight time.
• Current Learjet 45 type rating is required.
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen.
• Successful completion of a DOT/FAA compliant background check.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, nights, and full shifts.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Ypsilanti, MI.
• Proficiency in basic MS Office suite and general computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2,000+ total flight hours.

• Current Learjet 45 type rating.
