Executive Jet Management, a subsidiary of NetJets and a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a highly qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Gulfstream 600 aircraft based in Boca Raton, Florida (KBCT). This position is part of a three-pilot team, supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician and Cabin Attendant, operating under Part 91 regulations.

The Pilot in Command bears ultimate responsibility for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft, while consistently delivering an exceptional service experience. This role entails supporting a family with a long history of aircraft ownership. The typical travel is primarily domestic, with occasional international trips. The three-pilot rotation allows for a balanced work schedule.

Candidates must be local to South Florida or willing to relocate, as this is not a home-based position. Applicants must be type-rated and have considerable experience in a heavy-cabin Gulfstream product (GV, GVI, or GVII), with strong preference given to those type-rated in GVII aircraft.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all crewing and trip assignments adhere to company and regulatory requirements.
  • Completing comprehensive flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance assessments.
  • Leading briefings using the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks.
  • Strictly adhering to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), coordinating with relevant personnel, and serving as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator.
  • Completing thorough pre-flight inspections, verifying aircraft maintenance status, and accurately documenting any discrepancies.
  • Monitoring and overseeing all aircraft ground servicing (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) according to SOPs.
  • Conducting detailed passenger briefings in line with company policy and regulations, providing the highest level of customer service and addressing any special needs.
  • Utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles to facilitate clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel.
  • Providing exceptional service to owners and passengers, proactively identifying opportunities for service enhancement and resolving any service deviations.
  • Collaborating with crew members and EJM partners to ensure a consistent service experience and resolve conflicts constructively.
  • Maintaining all required regulatory and company training and recency of experience.
  • Complying with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and reporting any safety or non-compliance concerns through the appropriate channels.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate

Experience:

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs):

  • Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is essential.
  • Must possess an FAA Type rating in GV, GVI, or GVII aircraft.
  • Must be capable of performing all essential functions of the position.
  • Minimum flight time requirements:
    • Total flight time: 3500 hours
    • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
    • Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
    • PIC MEL: 500 hours
    • Instrument: 300 hours
    • Jet: 500 hours
