About the Role

Gulfstream is seeking an experienced Senior Captain for Production Test duties based in Dallas, TX. This role, reporting to the Chief Production Test Pilot, involves the comprehensive evaluation of production aircraft, engines, avionics, and associated systems to ensure conformity with design and performance specifications. The Senior Captain will also serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) for domestic and international flights supporting a variety of operational needs, including customer services, corporate transportation, demonstrations, maintenance, and other company-wide activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct flight test evaluations of production aircraft, engines, avionics, and related systems to confirm conformity with design and performance specifications.
• Operate Gulfstream aircraft as Pilot in Command (PIC), domestically and internationally, adhering to the Flight Operations Manual and standard operating procedures.
• Support various flight operations including Airborne Customer Support, corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstrations, entry into service, maintenance, and production testing.
• Serve as a Flight Operations point of contact for internal and external customers.
• Understand domestic and international operations and company policies.
• Manage assignments independently and mentor Flight Operations personnel.
• Communicate effectively with Gulfstream staff to support customer engagement.
• Manage ancillary assignments, identify operational improvements, coordinate Flight Operations activities at events, and assist Dispatch with flight planning.

Requirements

• Seven years of professional pilot experience in the aviation industry.
• Either 2,000 hours of total flight time or 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) of turbine-powered aircraft.
• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license.
• FAA First-Class Medical Certificate required upon hire and must be maintained.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Two years of Gulfstream Flight Operations experience is preferred.
• A Gulfstream type rating is preferred.
• Previous Gulfstream experience with GVII and/or G280 type ratings is preferred.
• Production or functional test pilot experience is preferred.
