Executive Jet Management Seeks Gulfstream 600 Pilot
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced pilot to join their team in White Plains, NY (KHPN). This position offers a unique opportunity to join a 7-pilot account operating a Gulfstream 600 aircraft under Part 91 regulations. The chosen candidate will be supported by a dedicated team of Maintenance Technicians and Flight Attendants, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Responsibilities:
The Pilot in Command (PIC) is entrusted with the ultimate responsibility of ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operation. This encompasses adhering to all company and regulatory guidelines while delivering an exceptional customer service experience.
Key duties include:
- Flight Operations:
- Ensuring all crew and trip assignments adhere to company and regulatory standards.
- Meticulously executing flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks.
- Employing the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to conduct comprehensive briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Maintaining strict compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating seamlessly with company personnel.
- Acting as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as stipulated by company policy.
- Aircraft Management:
- Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, including verifying aircraft maintenance status, to guarantee mission readiness.
- Diligently documenting all aircraft discrepancies following company SOPs.
- Overseeing and ensuring all ground servicing requirements (fueling, oil, oxygen, etc.) are met according to established SOPs.
- Passenger Care:
- Delivering comprehensive passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards.
- Providing the highest level of personalized service to owners and passengers, catering to their individual needs with the utmost professionalism.
- Communication and Teamwork:
- Effectively utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles to maintain clear and timely communication with crew members and support staff during normal, abnormal, and emergency situations.
- Service Excellence:
- Consistently exceeding owner and passenger expectations by providing top-tier service and actively seeking opportunities to enhance the EJM experience.
- Proactively addressing and resolving service-related issues with a dedication to continuous improvement.
- Fostering a collaborative environment with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to ensure a consistently positive and seamless experience for owners and passengers.
- Professional Development:
- Maintaining unwavering compliance with all regulatory and company-mandated training and recency of experience requirements.
- Actively participating in the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting any safety or compliance concerns through established channels.
Qualifications:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
- FAA Type rating in Gulfstream GVII (required)
- Minimum Flight Experience:
- Total Time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
- Proven experience in corporate/business aviation is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive base salary ranging from $110,000 to $432,000 per year.
