Pilot in Command - Gulfstream G200 - Santa Teresa, NM
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company and a subsidiary of NetJets, seeks a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Gulfstream G200 aircraft. The Pilot in Command holds the ultimate responsibility for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. He or she complies with all company and regulatory requirements while consistently delivering an exceptional service experience.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures crewing and trip assignments adhere to company and regulatory standards for safe flight operations.
- Completes comprehensive flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks.
- Employs Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead briefings and mitigate operational risks effectively.
- Adheres to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates with relevant personnel, acting as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as needed.
- Conducts thorough pre-flight checks, including verification of aircraft maintenance status, to guarantee mission readiness, and accurately records any discrepancies.
- Oversees aircraft ground servicing, such as fueling, oil checks, and oxygen replenishment, following established SOPs.
- Delivers passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulations, providing exceptional customer service and accommodating special passenger needs.
- Employs Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) techniques to communicate effectively with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Provides outstanding service to owners and passengers, actively seeking opportunities to improve the EJM service experience and promptly addressing any service deviations.
- Collaborates with crew members and EJM partners to ensure a consistent service experience, resolving conflicts constructively.
- Maintains all required regulatory and company training, ensuring continuous compliance.
- Participates in the company's Safety Management System (SMS), reporting safety concerns and non-compliance issues.
Qualifications:
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate within a 90-minute driving distance of Doña Ana County International Jetport in Santa Teresa, NM (KDNA).
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is highly desirable.
- FAA Type rating in G200/Galaxy preferred.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
