Gulfstream 450 Pilot - Houston, TX
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of NetJets and a leading provider of aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilot to join our team in Houston, TX. This is a two-pilot position operating under Part 91 and 135 regulations, supporting a Gulfstream 450 (G450) aircraft. The Pilot in Command (PIC) is responsible for ensuring the aircraft's safe, compliant, and efficient operation while delivering exceptional service to our valued clients.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures the Safe Operation of Flight:
- Complies with all company and regulatory requirements, including crewing and trip assignments.
- Completes thorough flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks.
- Implements Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to mitigate operational risks.
- Adheres to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates with internal personnel.
- Acts as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Performs all aircraft pre-flight tasks, ensuring mission capability and recording discrepancies in accordance with SOPs.
- Monitors and ensures all ground servicing requirements (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are met.
- Conducts passenger briefings adhering to company policy and regulations, providing superior customer service and accommodating any special needs.
- Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) for clear and timely communication during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Delivers an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provides exemplary service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience and resolving any service deviations promptly.
- Collaborates with fellow crew members and internal EJM partners to ensure a consistent and positive service experience for clients.
- Resolves conflict and challenges effectively and professionally.
- Maintains Proficiency and Compliance:
- Stays current with all regulatory and company-mandated training and recency requirements.
- Complies with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reports any safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels.
Qualifications:
- Certifications & Licenses: FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience. Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred.
- Type Rating: Preference given to GV/450/550 type-rated individuals.
- Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
