Executive Jet Management Seeks G450 Captain - Green Bay, WI
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Captain to join their team in Green Bay, Wisconsin (GRB). This exceptional opportunity offers a unique flying experience with a dedicated two-pilot account on a G450 aircraft.
Position Overview:
The Captain will operate under Part 91 regulations, flying approximately 300 hours annually with primary destinations in Florida and Colorado. This position comes with a signing bonus for qualified candidates and the support of a dedicated Maintenance Technician.
Responsibilities:
As Pilot in Command (PIC), the chosen candidate will maintain ultimate responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. This includes, but is not limited to:
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensuring all crew and trip assignments adhere to company and regulatory requirements.
- Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, including verifying aircraft maintenance status.
- Completing meticulous flight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance tasks.
- Utilizing Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to mitigate operational risks.
- Acting as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Maintaining proficiency in all required training and recency of experience.
- Adhering to company SMS program and reporting any safety or non-compliance concerns.
Service Excellence:
- Providing an exceptional level of service to aircraft owners and passengers.
- Identifying and proactively addressing opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
- Collaborating effectively with fellow crew members and EJM personnel to deliver consistent service.
- Professionally resolving any service deviations or challenging situations.
Operational Expertise:
- Ensuring all ground servicing requirements (fueling, oil, oxygen) are met per SOPs.
- Conducting comprehensive passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulations.
- Utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles for effective communication.
- Demonstrating adaptability and proficiency in handling both normal and non-routine flight operations.
Qualifications:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
- First Class Medical Certificate
- Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience
- Extensive experience on the G450 or similar Gulfstream aircraft is highly preferred.
- Meeting the following minimum flight time requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
- International experience
