Executive Jet Management Seeks G550 Pilot

Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced G550 Pilot to join their team in Wheeling, Illinois (PWK). This unique opportunity offers the chance to join a two-pilot account, supported by a full-time Maintenance Technician, operating under Part 91 and owner Part 135.

About the Role:

The Pilot in Command (PIC) will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of a G550 aircraft, averaging 250 flight hours annually. This includes domestic and occasional international travel. The PIC plays a critical role in ensuring adherence to all company and regulatory requirements while consistently delivering an exceptional service experience for passengers and owners. This position requires residing within a commutable distance of PWK airport.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety and Compliance: Ensure all aspects of flight operations comply with company SOPs and regulatory standards, including crewing, flight planning, risk mitigation, security procedures, pre-flight checks, and passenger briefings.
Service Excellence: Provide an unparalleled experience for owners and passengers, consistently seeking opportunities to exceed expectations and resolve any service deviations promptly and effectively.
Professional Development: Maintain proficiency in all required training and certifications, stay abreast of industry best practices, and actively participate in the company's Safety Management System (SMS).

Qualifications:

FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
First Class Medical Certificate
Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience
Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is highly preferred
FAA Type rating in applicable fleet
Proven ability to meet the following flight time requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
- GV/G450/G550 or similar aircraft size experience is preferred
