Executive Jet Management Seeks G550 Pilot in Command
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for a G550 aircraft based in White Plains, NY (KHPN). This is a unique opportunity to join a dedicated 6-pilot account supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician and Flight Attendant, operating under Part 135 regulations.
Responsibilities:
The Pilot in Command holds the paramount responsibility of ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. This encompasses:
Safety First:
- Ensuring all crewing and trip assignments adhere to company and regulatory requirements.
- Diligently completing flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for every flight.
- Employing the Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead pre-flight briefings and effectively mitigate operational risks.
- Maintaining strict compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating seamlessly with all relevant company personnel. Acting as the designated Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator in accordance with company policy.
- Performing thorough pre-flight inspections, meticulously reviewing aircraft maintenance status to guarantee mission readiness. Documenting any discrepancies diligently as per company SOPs.
- Overseeing all ground servicing activities (fueling, oil, oxygen, etc.) to ensure completion according to established SOPs.
- Delivering comprehensive passenger briefings in line with company policy and regulations, ensuring the highest level of customer service and accommodating any special passenger needs.
- Utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles to communicate effectively and efficiently with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency situations.
Exceptional Service Delivery:
- Providing impeccable service to aircraft owners and passengers, consistently seeking opportunities to elevate the EJM experience. Proactively addressing and resolving any service deviations.
- Collaborating effectively with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to deliver a seamless and consistent service experience. Demonstrating strong conflict resolution skills to address challenges professionally and constructively.
Professionalism & Compliance:
- Maintaining all regulatory and company-mandated training requirements and recency of experience.
- Actively participating in the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program, diligently reporting safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels.
Qualifications:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- First Class Medical Certificate.
- Prior corporate/business aviation experience is highly desirable.
- FAA Type rating in the applicable fleet.
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the position.
Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
Compensation & Benefits:
EJM offers a competitive compensation package with a base salary range of $110,000 - $432,000 and a comprehensive benefits package, including:
