Position Summary

The Flight Attendant serves as an ambassador for the NetJets brand, responsible for delivering an elite and personalized air travel experience while upholding stringent safety and security standards. As a representative of premier private aviation, the Flight Attendant integrates safety leadership with refined inflight service and bespoke hospitality. Each flight aims to exceed NetJets Owner expectations through a seamless, luxurious travel experience, prioritizing safety above all.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the safety and security of all Owners and passengers within the aircraft cabin, adhering strictly to the Flight Attendant Manual, Service Procedures Checklist, Standard Operating Procedures, and all associated policies.
  • Conducting thorough interior preflight inspections, extending a warm and professional welcome to Owners and guests, providing personalized briefings, and serving as the subject matter expert on aircraft safety, comfort, and entertainment systems.
  • Sourcing high-quality catering from external providers as needed, ensuring compliance with luxury standards and Owner preferences.
  • Delivering elevated inflight service, including premium beverage and food presentation, turndown service, and executing bespoke Owner profiles and detailed service notes.
  • Ensuring all cabin baggage is correctly and safely stowed in accordance with regulatory and company policies.
  • Facilitating flights for Owners traveling with pets or who permit smoking onboard, maintaining discretion and service excellence.
  • Operating effectively within a collaborative team/crew environment, ensuring consistent compliance with safety and operational protocols, and closely collaborating with Owner Services, NetJets Service Representatives, and other internal teams for a seamless experience.
  • Acting as a trusted liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the Fixed Base Operator (FBO) through safe arrival at their destination, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience.
  • Proactively communicating any cabin-related maintenance concerns or irregularities to the Pilot in Command for prompt resolution.
  • Completing all administrative duties accurately, including inventory documentation, service passdowns, and required crew reports.
  • Maintaining the aircraft cabin in a consistently clean and organized state according to company standards.
  • Utilizing innovative thinking to address complex issues and make prompt decisions in dynamic environments.
  • Performing other responsibilities as assigned based on specific trip or operational requirements.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a concentration in hospitality, customer service, business, or culinary arts.
  • Outstanding communication skills, exhibiting clarity, professionalism, and poise.
  • Proficient in personal computing, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Body size must not exceed specific aircraft dimensions (e.g., jump seat, harness without modification, cabin aisle and emergency exit).
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrates exceptional adaptability and the ability to perform in dynamic and fast-changing environments.
  • Ability to manage personal rest effectively to prepare for active duty throughout each tour.
  • Willing and able to travel away from home for seven or more consecutive days and nights, with accommodations provided.
  • Eligible to obtain all necessary airport authority and U.S. Customs security credentials.
  • Must successfully pass all Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background screenings and obtain required airport and U.S. Customs clearances.
  • Possession of a valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restriction.
  • Valid State-issued driver’s license.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
  • Highly polished, service-oriented appearance and demeanor, capable of creating positive first and lasting impressions and engaging effectively with Owners.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure or in high-stakes situations.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, with acute attention to detail in technical and service-oriented matters.
  • Ability to exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Comfortable working around animals, including providing care and attention during and surrounding Owner flights.
  • Must maintain required Flight Attendant certification and FAA compliance post-hire.
  • Must successfully complete the NetJets Part 135 Flight Attendant Training Program.
