Pilot in Command

Million Air/American Jet is seeking a professional, safety-oriented Pilot in Command to join our flight crew division. Objective

The Pilot in Command is responsible for providing outstanding service to charter customers while maintaining strict adherence to company procedures and FAA regulations. This role focuses on the safe and efficient operation of our 135-charter mid-cabin aircraft fleet.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure the highest standards of safety in coordination with the Safety Manager.
  • Greet customers professionally and develop a strong rapport with aircraft owners and passengers.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft cleanliness and maintenance status prior to customer arrival.
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with flight operations regarding customer preferences and trip details.
  • Report directly to the Chief Pilot.

Requirements

  • Possess an ATP certificate (preferred).
  • Minimum 2,000 hours total time; previous Part 135 experience (preferred).
  • Valid 1st Class Medical Certificate.
  • Knowledge of 14 CFR and FAA regulations.
  • Meet all requirements of 14 CFR Part 135.243(a)(1) & (c).
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required prior to start date.
  • Must live within 45 minutes of the base airport.
  • Ability to pass a background check and maintain an acceptable driving record.
  • Adherence to a zero-tolerance drug-free workplace policy.
