Capability Unit
Metrea Special Aerospace provides a comprehensive range of aerospace solutions, encompassing integrated C5ISR, specialized rotary wing training, and special mobility logistics. The unit owns and operates a fleet of King Air and Challenger aircraft, supporting the United States and its allies and partners globally.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for operating a turbo-prop aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Metrea Special Aerospace (MSA) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The incumbent will also be responsible for flight planning, conducting aircraft pre-flight checks, and coordinating with company site leads and aircrew to facilitate mission execution and operations.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position that transitions into a full-time position upon completion of all training requirements, background requirements, PRIA, and OCONUS requirements. Hours and work shifts may vary based on business needs to promote customer satisfaction. The incumbent will be scheduled to work approximately 2-3 months on OCONUS assignment and rotate out for approximately 2-3 months.

During deployment, employees may be living under field conditions and must be able to work with minimal supervision in austere or arduous environments. Work environment varies based on contract.
Physical Demands
This position requires daily physical activity related to flight operations, and a second-class medical is required. Activities such as walking, lifting, and reaching overhead are involved.
