Airline Transport Pilot Certificate

Knowledge and familiarity of Mayo Aviation Safety Manual, Operations Manual, Operations Specifications and associated manuals

Knowledge and familiarity of aviation maintenance operations and procedures.

Writing skills necessary to convey information accurately and simply

Ability to lead projects and communicate across all departments ensuring consistency of standards and safe operations
EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING

Bachelor’s degree preferred
KNOWLEDGE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

ATP certificate with multi-engine land rating

First-Class medical certificate
-
FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit

Minimum flight experience required:
-
2000-3500 hours total fixed-wing flight time
-
1000 hours PIC fixed-wing flight time (PIC for this purpose is defined as Captain/Aircraft Commander of record, not simply the sole manipulator of the controls)
-
500 hours multi-engine fixed-wing flight time
-
150 hours instrument flight time
-
100 hours PIC night flight time
-
Turbine experience required
-
Single-pilot experience preferred
-
Mountain experience preferred
-
Must hold valid passport
-
Read, write, and speak the English language fluently
-
Ability to relocate within 1 hour of Centennial Airport, Denver, CO (KAPA)
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
Working conditions are those of a typical flight operation. The working environment is subject to varying locations and climatic conditions, variable hours and time zone changes, jet fuel and exhaust fumes, and noise from aircraft and ground equipment.
The position requires physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, kneeling, twisting, climbing, squatting, bending, and lifting of bags and equipment.
