Cabin Crew / Flight Attendant
A leading airline is seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join its Cabin Crew team. The primary role of the Cabin Crew is to provide exceptional customer service and ensure the comfort and safety of passengers throughout the flight. This requires strict adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, and established safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent and superior in-flight service consistently to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Ensure the safety of customers and proper management of cabin operations as stipulated in the Safety Emergency Procedures.
- Maintain a high level of personal discipline and adhere strictly to company rules and regulations for Cabin Crew.
- Uphold the required grooming standards at all times as outlined in the Cabin Crew Grooming Manual.
- Be fully conversant and knowledgeable with all responsibilities and duties related to the Flight Steward/ess role.
- Manage personal performance levels in line with job requirements.
- Maintain a customer-focused approach when engaging in service delivery.
- Safeguard, properly handle, and ensure correct stowage of all Company equipment.
- Report to In-flight Supervisors and Leading Stewards/Stewardesses on matters concerning crew discipline, grooming, performance, and all service aspects across different cabin classes.
- Conform to all set standards and requirements for the Flight Steward/ess role.
- Submit all necessary documentation where applicable.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of SPM or its equivalent as recognized by the Malaysian Government, with a Credit in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Must be aged 18 years and above.
- Minimum height of 157cm for female applicants.
- Minimum height of 165cm for male applicants.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Possess good interpersonal and writing skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Proficiency in a second language is preferred.
- Demonstrate exemplary qualities, including punctuality, dependability, and flexibility with scheduling.
- Ability to understand and follow cabin crew operations, in-flight service standards, aviation policies, and regulations.
Work Environment:
The Cabin Crew role is demanding and requires resilience. Crew members often work through tiredness and jet lag when crossing different time zones. The work environment involves confined spaces, extended periods spent standing, and can be physically demanding, particularly on long-haul flights. Crew may need to handle difficult passengers in challenging situations and work effectively within a diverse team comprising individuals from various backgrounds and cultures.
