Cabin Crew Member (m/f/x)
LuxairAirlines, within its Cabin Crew department, is actively recruiting for the position of Cabin Crew Member (m/f/x). This role is integral to upholding the highest standards of passenger safety, security, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safety and security of all passengers and the aircraft during all phases of flight, including normal, abnormal, and emergency situations.
- Facilitating effective communication between cabin and flight crew members, adhering to established protocols and terminology.
- Providing specialized assistance to passengers requiring particular attention.
- Administering first aid for medical emergencies, whether on the ground or inflight.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all regulatory changes, company documents, and instructions, and updating personal manuals accordingly.
- Upholding passenger well-being in accordance with service instructions and commercial communication guidelines.
- Adhering to current regulations and instructions, and demonstrating responsibility during inflight sales processes.
- Familiarizing oneself with all reporting procedures and promptly communicating any issues encountered during duty, including irregularities, feedback, and suggestions.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a secondary education diploma (Bac) or equivalent qualification.
- A valid swimming and/or rescue certificate.
- Minimum age of 18 years old and demonstrated fitness for flight duties.
- Willingness to work flexible and irregular schedules, including weekends.
- Acceptance of overnight layovers at outstations.
- Basic proficiency in standard office applications.
- A customer-centric approach, a smart appearance, and adherence to the company's uniform dress code.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, French, and German.
- Successful completion of mandatory initial and recurrent training relevant to the area of operation.
Desirable Attributes and Skills (to be acquired or demonstrated)
- An exceptional aptitude for customer interaction and a strong service orientation.
- Basic knowledge of Luxembourgish.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
- Proficiency in departmental tools and systems.
- A responsible and dynamic demeanor, with a team-oriented mindset and the capacity to manage stress effectively.
Additional Asset
Knowledge of any additional languages is considered a significant advantage for this role.
