This exciting opportunity is based in the picturesque location of Nadi, Fiji. Fiji Airways maintains a modern fleet comprising Airbus A330, A350, and Boeing 737NG/MAX aircraft, serving key routes across New Zealand, the Pacific region, and international destinations including Los Angeles, Vancouver, Hong Kong, and various Australian cities.

Role Description and Contract Details

These are highly desirable three-year renewable contracts, specifically tailored for pilots based in the Australian and New Zealand regions. Fiji Airways enhances this offering by providing commuting tickets, facilitating travel between the crew member's contractual base and Nadi for the commencement of duty. The employment period is for a term of 3 years, with renewal options available.

Compensation and Benefits Package

Captains applying for this role can expect a competitive and comprehensive benefits package. Key highlights include:

• A substantial monthly service fee of NZD17,428 for 70 duty hours.
• A generous monthly accommodation allowance of NZD2,240.

Professional Requirements

Prospective candidates must meet the following stringent criteria to be considered for this Captain role:

1. Possession of a valid Airbus A330 or A350 type rating.
2. A minimum of 1,000 flight hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) on the A330 or A350 aircraft, OR a minimum of 2,000 total flight hours on the A330 or A350.
3. A minimum of 5,000 total flight hours across all aircraft types.
4. Recent operational experience on the A330 or A350 within the last 24 months.
5. A minimum of 2 years of experience operating as crew on the A330 or other Airbus aircraft.
6. Maximum age of 62 years.
7. Holding a valid ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
8. Possession of a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
9. An ICAO English Language Proficiency Level of 5 or higher.
