L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly experienced and qualified aviation professional to serve as Chief Flight Attendant / Cabin Services Director based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of cabin services, optimizing crew performance, and maintaining stringent regulatory compliance within a Part 121 operational environment.

Responsibilities:

The Chief Flight Attendant / Cabin Services Director will be responsible for the comprehensive operational management of cabin crews. This includes overseeing cabin crew scheduling, managing resource allocation across the flight network, and ensuring stringent compliance with airline policies and aviation regulations. The role involves collaboration with the network planning department to efficiently allocate resources for flights.

A key function is the performance management of cabin crew members, which entails evaluating performance, conducting formal appraisals, and identifying training needs to foster continuous improvement. The Director plays a crucial role in building the cabin services team through conducting hiring interviews and making staffing decisions. Additionally, the position involves mentoring new cabin crew members and providing ongoing training and development opportunities for the entire team.

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree accompanied by a minimum of six (6) years of relevant professional experience is required. Alternatively, a Graduate Degree with a minimum of four (4) years of related experience will be considered. Candidates without a degree may qualify with a minimum of ten (10) years of directly related experience.
• Applicants must possess an active DoD Top Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
• Demonstrated customer service experience is essential.
• Requires demonstrated experience in a leadership role with a Part 121 air carrier.
• Must possess demonstrated knowledge of FAA aviation safety regulations and procedures.

Additional Requirements:

• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must reside within the Las Vegas area.
• Ability to pass a medical examination and obtain a fit-to-fly certification is required.
• Must meet height requirements between 5 feet and 6 feet 1 inch.
• Possession of a valid US Passport is mandatory.
• All personnel are required to pass the fingerprint-based criminal history records check (CHRC) per 49CFR1542.209 as well as a pre-employment drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills are preferred.
• A proven ability to work effectively under pressure and in stressful situations is desirable.
