The Flight Research team at Joby Aviation is recruiting a highly capable Test Pilot to command research and development crewed and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) platforms. The primary focus for this role will be the Cessna Caravan program, where the incumbent will execute pilot command duties during developmental and operational flight testing. This position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced team, supporting a comprehensive range of test pilot responsibilities and contributing to critical engineering development activities.
This position is subject to US export control regulations. Candidates must qualify as a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15, which includes U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.
Compensation at Joby Aviation comprises a competitive base salary and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target annual base pay for this role ranges from $91,500 to $151,900. The final compensation package will be determined based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.

This position is based in Concord, CA, with an anticipated travel requirement of less than 25%. Travel may include occasional deployed testing operations and participation in military exercises.
