Jetvia is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command (Captain) for the Learjet 60 aircraft, based in Dallas, TX. This home-based position offers direct entry for qualified candidates responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft while providing an exceptional service experience for executive charter guests.

About the Role

The Pilot in Command (PIC) for the Learjet 60 at Jetvia is the ultimate authority on the aircraft, ensuring safe and technically accurate air transportation. This role involves supervising the First Officer and crew, serving as the Inflight Security Coordinator, and representing Jetvia with executive clients. Responsibilities include conducting thorough flight planning, managing aircraft weight and balance, fuel planning, and performance data. The PIC will greet guests, provide safety briefings, and maintain the aircraft's professional appearance. Duties also encompass communicating maintenance discrepancies and completing necessary paperwork.

Requirements

• FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with unrestricted privileges.
• Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Minimum of 2,000 hours of total flight time.
• Minimum of 500 hours of multi-engine flight time.
• Lear 60 Type Rating is required.
• Minimum of 300 hours of Lear 60 PIC (Pilot in Command) experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and rotating holidays.
• Must reside within reasonable driving distance of a Jetvia crew base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 3,000 hours of total flight time is preferred.
• 1,000 hours of multi-engine flight time is preferred.
• Previous Part 135 operational experience as Pilot in Command is preferred.
