Jetstar Airways Pilot Recruitment
Jetstar Airways is seeking highly qualified candidates to join their flight operations team. This position requires a minimum of 4000 hours total flight time, including 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time, 500 hours in type, and 3000 hours in jet aircraft. A type rating is mandatory. Candidates must possess 1000 hours of PIC time on jet aircraft and meet JCAB's Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) requirements, specifically: over 250 hours PIC, or over 70 hours PIC and over 180 hours PICUS, or over 500 hours PICUS, 100 hours PIC Cross Country, 200 hours Cross Country, 100 hours Night Flight, and 75 hours Instrument Flight. Applicants must hold an ATPL license issued by an ICAO authority, possess a Class 1 medical certificate, and demonstrate an ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5. The airline will provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must meet JCAB Class 1 aeronautical medical standards, possess strong team working competencies, and demonstrate a commitment to service excellence. Covid-19 vaccination is not specified as a requirement.
