Job Summary

JetPro Pilots is actively recruiting for a distinguished Boeing 787 Captain position on behalf of a prestigious Part 91 client located in Southeast Texas. This pivotal role involves being an integral part of the flight operations team, with primary responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the Boeing 787 aircraft to meet the unique and demanding requirements of an esteemed client. The ideal candidate will possess a profound passion for aviation, an unwavering commitment to safety, and the leadership ambition to contribute significantly to the client's aviation department.

Salary: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Schedule: An average of 15-22 flying days per month, typically around 16 days. Most trips are scheduled in advance, with occasional flights requiring approximately 48 hours' notice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe operation of the Boeing 787 aircraft in strict adherence to all company policies and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.
  • Execute flight plans with maximum efficiency, ensuring punctual departures and arrivals to maintain schedule integrity.
  • Foster clear and effective communication channels with all crew members, air traffic control personnel, and passengers.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-flight and post-flight inspections of the aircraft to verify airworthiness and operational readiness.
  • Maintain meticulous and accurate records of all flight activities, including critical data such as fuel consumption and any identified maintenance issues.
  • Actively participate in recurrent training programs and diligently maintain all required certifications and qualifications.
  • Uphold and promote company safety procedures, actively contributing to the development and maintenance of a robust safety culture.
  • Deliver an exemplary standard of customer service to passengers, guaranteeing a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable flight experience.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in working hours, accommodating potential requirements for weekend duties.

Candidate Requirements

  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with Multi-Engine and Instrument Ratings.
  • Valid First Class Medical certificate.
  • Boeing 787 Type Rating (required).
  • Minimum of 4,000 hours of total flight time.
  • Minimum of 4,000 hours of Multi-Engine flight time.
  • Minimum of 2,000 hours of Pilot in Command (PIC) time in turbine aircraft.
  • Minimum of 300 hours of flight time in the Boeing 787 type.
  • Residency within a one-hour commute of the designated base.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
