Pilot in Command – Gulfstream G400
Jet Linx is seeking a qualified and experienced Pilot in Command for its Gulfstream G400 heavy jet aircraft, supporting both Part 91 and 135 flight operations. This is a full-time position based in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will reside, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out time of the home base.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command (PIC) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
- Time in Type (Gulfstream G400): 250 hours
- PIC Time in Type (Gulfstream G400): 250 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Instrument Time: 300 hours
Essential Functions:
- Manage duty, flight, and rest periods in accordance with company policies and CFRs.
- Maintain consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Maintain and manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and readily available.
- Maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Demonstrate strong and proactive decision-making skills.
- Exemplify Jet Linx's core values in all interactions.
Other Requirements:
- Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months preferred.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Current passport.
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate (or ability to obtain).
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing when required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- The majority of work is performed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
