Second in Command (SIC) – Gulfstream G200 Pilot

Jet Linx is actively recruiting a highly qualified and experienced Second in Command (SIC) for a Gulfstream G200 aircraft. This full-time position, based in Dallas, TX, supports both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of company flights, reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot. A commitment to residing or relocating within a two-hour call-out radius of the home base is required.
The Second in Command (SIC) is entrusted with the preparation and execution of company aircraft operations, upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures. This role demands exceptional professionalism, proactive decision-making, and a steadfast adherence to Jet Linx's core values.
- Manage duty, flight, and rest times meticulously, ensuring full compliance with company policies and CFRs.
- Maintain consistent and timely communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position reporting, and comprehensive pre- and post-flight reports.
- Efficiently manage and maintain electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and all associated applications.
- Verify the currency of all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals.
- Hold and maintain a current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Exercise strong, proactive decision-making skills in all operational scenarios.

Minimum Flight Experience:
- Total Time: 1,500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 500 hours
- Multi-Engine: 500 hours
- Turbine: 100 hours
- Instrument: 150 hours
Certifications & Licenses:
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate (Unrestricted).
- FAA First-Class Medical Certificate (current and maintained).
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Current U.S. Passport.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Driver's License.
Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and comply with random drug/alcohol testing protocols.
- Unrestricted ability to travel internationally to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to authorize and pass a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Pilot Record Database (PRD) review conducted by a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational demands require.
- Preferred: Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months.
- The majority of work is conducted within and around aircraft and aircraft terminal environments.
- Ability to frequently move and lift up to 50 pounds.
Jet Linx offers a highly competitive compensation and benefits package. The starting annual base salary for this position ranges from $124,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation is determined based on factors such as geographic location, specific aircraft size and crew position, and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience.
