Job Summary
Jet Linx, a leader in private aviation, is actively seeking a qualified and experienced Pilot in Command for a Falcon 900EX-EASy aircraft. This is a full-time opportunity based in Scottsdale, Arizona, supporting both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The successful candidate will be a consummate professional dedicated to the highest standards of safety, operational efficiency, and client service. This position requires the candidate to reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a 2-hour call-out time of the Scottsdale base.
Key Responsibilities
The Pilot in Command (PIC) reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all flight operations are conducted in strict compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company procedures.
- Maintaining diligent management of all duty, flight, and rest time requirements.
- Upholding clear and consistent communication with the company for standby duties, trip notifications, and pre- and post-flight reporting.
- Managing the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), including all hardware and applications, to ensure operational readiness.
- Verifying that all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and accessible.
- Demonstrating strong, proactive decision-making skills throughout all phases of flight.
- Consistently representing Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC): 2,000 hours
- Total Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine: 1,500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
- Total Turbine: 500 hours
- Total Instrument: 300 hours
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Valid U.S. Driver's License and a current Passport
- Proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States
Additional Requirements
- Initial or Recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Must possess the unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canadian, and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to successfully pass an FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review and background check.
- Flexible schedule availability, including the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience is required.
- Ability to frequently move or lift up to 50 pounds in an aircraft and terminal environment.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. The starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $195,000 to $251,000, dependent upon geographic location, aircraft assignment, and the candidate's relevant experience and training.
