Jet Linx is actively seeking highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates to operate our Falcon 900EX-EASy heavy jet aircraft. This pivotal role supports both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations, demanding exceptional skill and dedication. The successful candidate will ideally reside, or be prepared to relocate, within a two-hour call-out radius of the Scottsdale, AZ home base.
Position Summary
The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and bears ultimate responsibility for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company aircraft. This includes meticulously preparing for flights, ensuring adherence to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and upholding stringent company procedures. The PIC is a leader in aviation safety and operational excellence within the Jet Linx team.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
The Pilot in Command will be entrusted with critical responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Proactively managing duty, flight, and rest times in strict accordance with company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintaining diligent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position reporting, and comprehensive pre- and post-flight reports.
- Expertly managing and maintaining Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and applications to ensure operational readiness.
- Verifying the currency and integrity of all required navigation charts, aviation publications, and company manuals.
- Consistently holding and maintaining a current FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- Demonstrating superior, proactive decision-making skills, especially under dynamic operational conditions.
- Exemplifying Jet Linx’s core values in all professional interactions and operational conduct.
Minimum Qualifications
Prospective candidates must meet the following flight hour requirements:
- Total Time: 3500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
- Total Time in Type (Falcon 900EX-EASy): 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Type (Falcon 900EX-EASy): 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
Additional Requirements
Candidates should also possess:
- Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in the Falcon 900EX-EASy type within the last 24 months is highly preferred.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States.
- A current and valid passport.
- An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, or the ability to obtain one.
- A current FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- An FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- The ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with random drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted travel capability to all European Union (EU), Canadian, and Caribbean countries.
- The ability to consent to and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review conducted by a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- The physical capacity to frequently move up to 50 pounds, with the majority of work performed in and around aircraft and airport terminals.
Compensation and Benefits

The starting base annual salary for this Pilot in Command position ranges from $195,000 to $251,000, commensurate with geographic location, specific aircraft size and crew position, and the candidate's comprehensive education, training, and experience.
