Pilot in Command – Citation Sovereign
Full-Time – Miami, FL
Jet Linx is actively seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the role of Pilot in Command (PIC) for its Super Midsize jet aircraft fleet. This position involves operating under both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. Prospective candidates are expected to reside within, or be willing to relocate to, an area that allows for a 2-hour call-out time from their designated home base.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command is primarily responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company aircraft. The PIC ensures all flights are conducted in strict adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
- Total PIC in Type (Citation Sovereign): 250 hours
- Multi-Engine Flight Time: 1000 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Flight Time: 1000 hours
- Total Turbine PIC Time: 1000 hours
- Instrument Flight Time: 300 hours
- Total Jet Flight Time: 1500 hours
- Total Jet PIC Time: 500 hours
Essential Functions:
- Meticulously manage duty, flight, and rest times to comply with all company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintain continuous and effective communication with company operations regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position reports, and pre- and post-flight debriefings.
- Responsible for the maintenance and management of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and associated software applications.
- Ensure all navigation charts, relevant publications, and company manuals are current and readily accessible.
- Possess and maintain a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making capabilities in all operational scenarios.

Other Requirements:
- Preference given to candidates with initial or recurrent 142 type-specific training completed within the last 24 months.
- Must possess the ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Hold a valid current passport.
- Must hold or be able to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Must hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Possess an FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and adhere to random drug and alcohol testing protocols as required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to and work in all EU, Canadian, and Caribbean countries.
- Must be able to release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review conducted by a System Chief Pilot.
- Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
- The majority of work duties are performed in and around aircraft and airport terminal environments.
- Must have the physical capacity to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
Compensation and Benefits:
Jet Linx offers a highly competitive compensation and benefits package designed to attract and retain top talent. The starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $245,000. The final base salary awarded will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, aircraft size (crew positions), relevant educational background, specialized training, and the candidate's overall experience.
