Job Overview
Jet Linx is actively recruiting highly qualified candidates for the role of Pilot in Command (PIC) operating Super Midsize jet aircraft. This position encompasses both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. Prospective candidates are expected to reside within a two-hour call-out time of their designated home base or be willing to relocate accordingly.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe and efficient preparation and execution of all company aircraft operations. This role ensures adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
- Total PIC in Type (Citation Sovereign): 250 hours
- Multi-Engine Flight Time: 1,000 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Flight Time: 1,000 hours
- Total Turbine PIC Time: 1,000 hours
- Instrument Flight Time: 300 hours
- Total Jet Flight Time: 1,500 hours
- Total Jet PIC Time: 500 hours
Essential Functions
- Management of duty, flight, and rest periods in compliance with company policies and federal regulations.
- Maintenance of proactive communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position updates, and pre/post-flight reporting.
- Upkeep and management of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and associated software applications.
- Ensuring the currency of all navigation charts, publications, and company operational manuals.
- Possession and maintenance of a current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Demonstration of strong, proactive decision-making capabilities.
- Upholding and embodying Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions.
Additional Requirements
- Preference for current or recurrent 142 type rating training completed within the last 24 months.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Driver's License.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Possession of a current passport.
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or the demonstrated ability to obtain one.
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and comply with random drug and alcohol testing protocols.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to all European Union, Canadian, and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to authorize and pass a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Pilot Record Database review conducted by a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience is required.
- The majority of work duties are performed in and around aircraft and associated terminals.
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. The starting annual base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $245,000. The final base salary offered is contingent upon the candidate's geographic location, aircraft type experience, relevant education, training, and overall experience. The comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a 6% company match, paid time off, and company-paid life and short-term disability coverage.
