Pilot in Command – Citation CJ4 Gen 2
Full-Time – Atlanta, GA
Jet Linx is seeking highly qualified Pilot in Command candidates to operate its Light Jet aircraft fleet, supporting both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The successful candidate is expected to reside, or be willing to relocate, within a 2-hour call-out time of the Atlanta home base.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command (PIC) holds primary responsibility for the safe and efficient conduct of company aircraft operations. This role ensures all flights adhere strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations and established company procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Total Time: 3500 hours
- Total PIC: 2000 hours
- Total Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine: 1500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
- Total Turbine: 500 hours
- Total Instrument: 300 hours
Essential Functions
- Manage duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with both company regulations and CFRs.
- Maintain consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position updates, and pre/post-flight reports.
- Effectively manage and maintain Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and associated applications.
- Ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and accessible.
- Maintain a current 1st Class FAA Medical Certificate.
- Exhibit strong, proactive decision-making skills in all operational scenarios.
- Consistently demonstrate Jet Linx’s core values in all interactions.
Other Requirements & Qualifications
- Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Possession of a current passport.
- Hold or have the ability to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Possess and maintain a 1st Class FAA Medical Certificate.
- Hold a valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel internationally, including to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to authorize and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review conducted by a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by operational demands.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
- The majority of work is conducted in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
Compensation
Jet Linx provides a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package for its team members. The starting base annual salary for this Pilot in Command position ranges from $140,000 to $182,500. The actual base salary offered is determined based on factors including geographic location, aircraft size (applicable to specific crew positions), and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience. The comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a 6% company match, paid time off, and company-paid life and short-term disability coverage.
