Pilot in Command – Legacy 600 – Full-Time Position – Salt Lake City, UT
Jet Linx invites applications for a Pilot in Command (PIC) position to operate Legacy 600 heavy jet aircraft under Part 91 and 135 flight operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering strictly to all Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Residence, or willingness to relocate, within a two-hour call-out radius of Salt Lake City International Airport is a prerequisite.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Base Chief Pilot, the PIC will ensure the safe and efficient conduct of all flights. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, flight planning, adherence to regulatory compliance, and maintaining detailed flight records.
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total PIC Time: 2000 hours
- Legacy 600 Type Rating Time: 250 hours
- Legacy 600 PIC Time in Type: 250 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Instrument Time: 300 hours
Essential Functions:
- Adherence to company and CFR duty, flight, and rest time regulations.
- Maintaining consistent communication with the company regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Effective management and maintenance of electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensuring currency of all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals.
- Maintenance of a valid First Class medical certificate.
- Demonstration of strong, proactive decision-making skills.
- Consistent embodiment of Jet Linx’s core values in all professional interactions.
Additional Requirements:
- Completion of initial or recurrent 142 type training within the past 24 months (preferred).
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Current passport.
- ATP certificate (or eligibility to obtain).
- Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and willingness to submit to random drug and alcohol testing.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canadian, and Caribbean countries.
- Successful completion of a FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Availability for night, weekend, and holiday work.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Majority of work is performed in and around aircraft and terminals.
