Pilot in Command - Challenger 604/605
Jet Linx seeks a highly motivated and experienced Pilot in Command to join their team in Washington, DC for full-time Part 91 and 135 flight operations. The ideal candidate will reside within a 2-hour call out time of the base or be willing to relocate.
Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command (PIC) holds primary responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, ensuring strict adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command Time: 2000 hours
- Total Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total Pilot in Command Time in Type: 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 1500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Pilot in Command Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
Essential Functions:
- Meticulously manage duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with both company policies and CFRs.
- Maintain consistent and clear communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Proactively maintain and manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current and up-to-date.
- Maintain a valid 1st Class medical certificate.
- Exercise strong, proactive decision-making skills in all situations.
- Consistently demonstrate Jet Linx’s core values in all interactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months.
- Possession of an ATP certificate or demonstrable ability to obtain one.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Current passport.
- Valid 1st Class Medical certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to undergo and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Physical ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis, as the majority of work is completed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
