Second in Command (SIC) - Heavy Jet Operations
Jet Linx is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Second in Command (SIC) to join our team and contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our heavy jet aircraft. This position will primarily support Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations.
Location: Candidates must live or be willing to relocate to the base area, within a two-hour call-out time of their home base.
Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the SIC will play a vital role in:
- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
- Contributing to the preparation and execution of flight operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 2,500 hours
- Total PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 100 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 150 hours
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Proactive decision-making abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Initial or recurrent type-specific 142 training completed within the last 24 months.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Current passport
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate (or ability to obtain ATP)
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
