Second in Command (SIC) - Heavy Jet Aircraft
Jet Linx is seeking highly qualified Second in Command candidates to join our Heavy jet aircraft operations, encompassing both Part 91 and 135 flight operations. Successful candidates must reside in or be prepared to relocate to the designated base area, within a 2-hour call-out time of their home base.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Second in Command plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft. The SIC actively participates in all pre-flight preparations and adheres strictly to all Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Total Flight Time: 2,500 hours
- Total Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 100 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 150 hours
- Exemplary Customer Service and Communication Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in interacting with passengers and colleagues.
- Proactive Decision-Making Skills: Ability to anticipate and effectively resolve operational challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Initial or Recurrent 142 Training: Completion of initial or recurrent type-specific training within the past 24 months is highly desirable.
Other Requirements
- U.S. Driver's License: Ability to obtain a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Work Eligibility: Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Valid Passport: Possession of a current passport.
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate: Possession of an ATP certificate or the ability to obtain one.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate: Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio License: Possession of a valid FCC Restricted Radio License.
