VIP Flight Attendant - Van Nuys, CA
Jet Aviation Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced VIP Flight Attendant to join a dynamic Part 91 Flight Department located in the Los Angeles, California area. This is a full-time opportunity to provide exceptional service to the principal and ensure the safety and comfort of all aircraft passengers during flight. Responsibilities:
The VIP Flight Attendant provides an exceptional level of personal service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort during flight. Duties include:
- Greeting passengers and assisting with their personal belongings.
- Explaining the use of safety equipment and serving food and beverages with the highest level of presentation.
- Directing and assisting passengers in the event of an emergency.
- Verifying that first aid kits and other emergency equipment are in working order.
- Securing the cabin, adhering to federal regulations prior to take-off and landing.
- Administering basic first aid to passengers in distress, including CPR and AED.
- Reassuring passengers during turbulence or other unusual situations.
- Assisting passengers while entering or disembarking the aircraft, determining special assistance needs.
- Performing preflight briefings.
- Ensuring adequate supplies of food, beverages, blankets, reading material, and emergency equipment are onboard.
- Facilitating and managing passengers' VIP requests for food and drinks.
- Shopping for specially requested items for passengers and stocking lockers on the ground.
- Preparing food for passengers and crew.
- Inspecting, cleaning, and stocking the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight.
- Ensuring the aircraft is always prepared for flight.
- Completing preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork.
- Conducting periodic trips through the cabin to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cabin cleanliness.
- Operating audio and video systems.
- Operating all features of the Cabin Management Systems.
- Operating all galley equipment.
- Operating all cabin features, to include berthing seats and configuring the divan into a bed.
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- First Aid Training Certification.
- 5+ years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Flight attendant specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs or similar is preferred; annual recurrent training is required. Candidates without formal flight attendant training may be considered based on other qualification but must attend initial flight attendant training course prior to flight assignment. Preference shown to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs or similar training within the past 12 months.
