VIP Flight Attendant Opportunity in Van Nuys, CA
A prestigious Part 91 Flight Department, located in the Los Angeles, California area, seeks a dedicated and experienced VIP Flight Attendant for a full-time position. Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional personal service to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
- Greet passengers and assist with their belongings.
- Explain the use of safety equipment and serve food and beverages with the highest level of presentation.
- Direct and assist passengers in the event of an emergency.
- Verify the working order of first aid kits and emergency equipment.
- Secure the cabin according to federal regulations before takeoff and landing.
- Administer basic first aid to passengers in distress, including CPR, AED, and general first aid.
- Reassure passengers during turbulence or other unusual situations.
- Assist passengers entering and disembarking the aircraft, including those with special needs.
- Perform preflight briefings.
- Ensure adequate supplies of food, beverages, blankets/bedding, reading material, and emergency equipment are onboard.
- Facilitate and manage VIP passenger requests for food and drinks.
- Procure requested items for passengers and stock lockers on the ground.
- Prepare food for passengers and crew.
- Inspect, clean, and stock the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each leg of the journey.
- Ensure the aircraft is consistently prepared for flight, maintaining cleanliness and adequate supplies.
- Complete preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork accurately.
- Conduct periodic cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cleanliness.
- Operate audio and video systems effectively.
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Current First Aid Training Certification.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar accredited institution is preferred. Annual recurrent training is mandatory. Candidates without formal training will be considered but must complete an initial flight attendant training course before flight assignment. Preference is given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months.

- Competent operation of all galley equipment.
- Skilled operation of all cabin features, including berthing seats and divan configuration.
