G650 Captain (Singapore-Based)
The Flight Services team is seeking a qualified and experienced G650 Captain to be based in Singapore. The Captain will support aircraft operations, uphold a high standard of flight safety and operational procedures, comply with all relevant regulations, and deliver professional service to clients. This position reports to the Director of Flight Operations, specifically for the G650 fleet based in Singapore.
Description/Tasks:
The Captain will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard the aircraft.
- Ensuring compliance with all operational procedures and checklists in accordance with the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Ensuring all crew members are in their designated stations prior to takeoff, final approach, and landing.
- Preventing any crew member from performing non-essential activities during takeoff, initial climb, final approach, and landing, focusing solely on duties required for the safe operation of the aircraft.
- Preventing the disabling or erasure of flight data and/or cockpit voice recorders, unless data conservation is necessary for the investigation of an incident or accident and would otherwise be automatically erased.
- Coordinating work distribution within the flight crew to optimize airmanship during flight operations.
- Ensuring precise navigation and adherence to minimum altitudes.
- Observing the limitations of all aircraft systems and ensuring the proper use and handling of the aircraft.
- Enforcing the strict use of checklists.
- Ensuring sufficient usable fuel remains to safely reach an airport for landing, with adequate final reserve fuel.
- Maintaining close communication with the cabin crew to ensure compliance with all cabin safety requirements.
- Ensuring the accurate completion of flight and technical logs.
- Filing written occurrence and accident reports as needed.
- Maintaining familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, the JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and established aviation practices.
- Upholding a high standard of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a company representative.
- Complying with regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Ensuring all passengers are briefed on the location of emergency exits and the location and use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
Qualification/Experience:
- Must hold a current G650 type rating.
- Minimum of 500 hours of flight time on the G650.
- Willingness to relocate to Singapore.
