A220 Captain - Singapore Based

The A220 Captain will play a pivotal role in supporting aircraft operations, maintaining stringent flight safety protocols, and ensuring unwavering compliance with all relevant regulations. Reporting to the Director of Flight Operations, with a specific focus on the A220 fleet based in Singapore, the Captain will provide professional service to Jet Aviation’s clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the absolute safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
- Maintain strict adherence to all operational procedures and checklists as stipulated in the Operations Manual (FOM).
- Confirm that all crew members are at their designated stations before take-off, final approach, and landing.
- Prohibit any crew member from performing non-essential activities during critical phases of flight, including take-off, initial climb, final approach, and landing.
- Prevent the disabling or erasure of flight data and/or cockpit voice recorders, except when data is required for incident/accident investigations and would otherwise be automatically erased.
- Coordinate flight crew responsibilities to achieve optimal airmanship throughout each flight.
- Guarantee precise navigation and meticulous adherence to minimum altitude requirements.
- Monitor and respect the limitations of all aircraft systems, and ensure proper operation and handling of the aircraft.
- Enforce the consistent and rigorous use of checklists.
- Confirm that adequate usable fuel remains to safely reach an airport for landing, with a final reserve remaining.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the cabin crew, to confirm all cabin safety requirements are met.
- Ensure accurate and thorough completion of flight and technical logs.
- File comprehensive written occurrence and accident reports when necessary.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant aviation regulations, JBJH/JBJS operations manual, and best aviation practices to fully meet the requirements of the role.
- Uphold a high standard of discipline, conduct, and professional appearance as a representative of Jet Aviation.
- Comply fully with all regulations outlined in the Operations Manual (FOM) and the Air Navigation Order (ANO).
- Ensure that all passengers are thoroughly briefed on the location of emergency exits, and on the location and use of all pertinent safety and emergency equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current A220 type rating.
- Prior experience in private jet operations is preferred.
- Minimum of 500 hours on Bombardier XRS aircraft; 5,000 hours will also be considered.
- Willingness to relocate to Singapore.
