As an ROV Pilot, you will play a pivotal role in executing investigation and inspection projects within the European and African regions. Utilizing Fugro's new fleet of electric ROVs, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality data while adhering to project specifications and company operating procedures.
This role offers a unique blend of remote operations and on-site opportunities. While predominantly based at the Remote Operations Centre in Aberdeen, you will have the chance to travel and support project mobilizations, equipment installation, calibrations, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Pilot electric ROVs deployed on USVs.
- Conduct investigations and inspections according to project requirements and company standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with the remote operations team.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of remote operations procedures.
- Participate in equipment installation, calibration, and maintenance activities.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as an ROV Pilot.
- Comprehensive knowledge of inspection-class ROV operations.
- A recognized technical or trade qualification, or a national vocational qualification in electrical, electronics, computing, or mechanics.
- Adaptability to shift work patterns, including rotations of up to 4 weeks.
