Requirements

Current aeroplane type rating and a minimum of 1500 total flying hours, including at least 500 hours on a relevant multi-pilot turbo-jet (CS-25 or equivalent) or multi-pilot turbo-prop (MTOW ≥ 10 tonnes or > 19 passengers) aircraft. Up to 100 hours simulator time may count towards the 500-hour requirement.

Relevant aeroplane type flying experience within the last 12 months (essential for Zero Flight Time Training eligibility prior to course commencement).

Valid UK Part-FCL licence (ATPL(A) or meeting full ATPL(A) hours requirements). A valid UK fATPL(A)/ATPL(A) must be held.

UK CAA Class 1 medical certificate, valid for at least 6 months from joining.

Height between 1.57m (5’2”) and 1.91m (6’3”). Taller applicants may require a functionality check.

Good physical fitness, ICAO English Level 6, and a valid passport (minimum 12 months validity).

Ability to comply with uniform standards (tattoos permissible if not on hands, face, or head).

Proficiency in water safety: swimming 50m, treading water for 3 minutes, assisting others in water, and entering a life raft from water while fitting a lifejacket.
