Freedom II Bermuda Limited | Chief Pilot

Freedom II Bermuda Limited seeks an experienced Chief Pilot to lead its flight crew operations for long-range Boeing 757 charters worldwide. This hybrid role, based in Florida, United States, involves comprehensive oversight of flight crew standards, recruitment, training, and day-to-day operational leadership. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Operations and will be instrumental in maintaining the highest operational standards for this VIP charter flight department operating under a Bermuda Part 121 AOC.

About the Role

The Chief Pilot will be responsible for overseeing flight crew, ensuring adherence to operational standards, supporting recruitment and onboarding processes, managing BCAA validation paperwork, fostering crew development, coordinating training, and managing rostering. The position requires leadership in daily operations, with flying duties involving extended periods of travel followed by equivalent time at home.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the flight crew through positive and inclusive leadership.
• Operate aircraft safely and efficiently, ensuring punctuality, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality standards.
• Prepare and conduct flights in accordance with operational directives.
• Actively cooperate with crew, ground staff, and air traffic control.
• Continuously maintain and further develop professional skills.
• Act responsibly and in a sustainable manner.
• Contribute to the development of the organization and its corporate culture.

Requirements

• Strong Boeing 757 experience.
• International operating experience.
• Sound judgment and the ability to lead by example.
• Professional demeanor, approachable, calm under pressure, with strong people skills and discretion.
• BCAA/OTAR experience is considered helpful but not required.
