First Officer Opportunities (Non-Rated)
Freebird Airlines is accepting applications for Non-Type Rated First Officers. Successful candidates will be based in either Antalya or Leipzig and must meet the following criteria:
- Valid CPL/ATPL(A) license compliant with EASA-FCL or ICAO standards (accepted by the Turkish DGCA).
- Valid Class 1 medical certificate compliant with EASA-MED or ICAO standards (accepted by the Turkish DGCA).
- Minimum ICAO Level 4 English proficiency.
- Age: Minimum 21; maximum 30 for inexperienced First Officers; maximum 45 for experienced First Officers.
- Absence of administrative penalties from any Civil Aviation Authority and no involvement in aviation-related incidents or accidents.
- Clean criminal record.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year university, preferably in engineering, aviation studies, or a field with a strong physics and mathematics component.
- Completed or deferred military service (minimum two-year deferral).
Freebird Airlines provides comprehensive type-rating training without requiring candidates to fund the program. The cost will be deducted from the candidate’s salary over a two-year period, commencing upon employment.
A320 Captain Opportunities (Direct Entry)
Freebird Airlines invites applications for experienced A320 Captains to join its Antalya base. While A320 type rating is preferred, applications from Commanders holding equivalent qualifications and experience are also welcome. Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Valid ATPL(A) license compliant with EASA-FCL.
- Valid A320 type rating (preferred).
- Valid Class 1 medical certificate compliant with EASA-MED.
- Minimum 1000 hours PIC experience on the A320 family.
- Minimum 2500 total flight hours on aircraft with a maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) of ≥ 27,000 kg.
- Minimum five years of experience as an airline pilot.
- Absence of administrative penalties from any Civil Aviation Authority and no involvement in aviation-related incidents or accidents.
- Maximum age of 62.
- Minimum ICAO Level 5 English proficiency.
- Eligibility to work within the EU.
- Clean criminal record.
- Ability to reach the base within 60 minutes during standby duties.
- Permanent contract based in Leipzig or Antalya.
