Seasonal Pilot - Support/Bird Dog (PA60 Piper Aerostar and/or Cessna 208 Caravan)
This role supports seasonal aviation operations. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced pilot with a passion for aviation and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Fly and operate the PA60 Piper Aerostar and/or Cessna 208 Caravan in support of various aviation operations.
- Maintain adherence to all applicable regulations, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Commercial Pilot License - Fixed Wing.
- Minimum 3000 hours of Pilot in Command (PIC) experience.
- Minimum 500 hours of turbine experience.
- Minimum 500 hours of multi-engine experience.
- Valid Instrument Rating (IFR).
- Legally permitted to work in Canada in the Federal Aviation sector.
- Canadian Commercial Pilot - Fixed Wing license or Transport Canada-recognized international equivalent.
- Canadian Category 1 medical certificate.
- Proven flying experience within the last 12 months.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to obtain a clean Criminal Background Check.
- Valid Canadian driver license or federally recognized international license.
- Ability to obtain a clean Driver Abstract.
- Passport valid for at least 30 days after the end of any employment.
- Modern smartphone with up-to-date operating system and a laptop or device suitable for accessing email and reading small print.
- CSA approved footwear.
Asset:
- Previous experience in aerial suppression operations.
- Experience flying the Piper Aerostar, Cessna Caravan, or aircraft equipped with a Garmin G1000NXI.
Training:
- Successful completion of the FPL ground and flight training program, including a pilot competency check.
