The company is seeking a First Officer for its team in a full-time position based at Braunschweig/Wolfsburg Research Airport.
A First Officer of a flight inspection aircraft serves as a specialist in aviation. As a First Officer within the company, the individual is directly involved in the organisation and execution of calibration flights. Additionally, the role includes undertaking ancillary tasks as required.
Serving as a First Officer on a flight inspection aircraft means being more than just a pilot; it involves being a specialist possessing excellent flying skills combined with expertise in calibration technology. The aircraft must be flown precisely along complex, constantly changing flight paths and at low altitudes. This demands high concentration, as even minor deviations can impact data quality. Calibration flights often last several hours and may take place under challenging weather and traffic conditions, with the safety of the crew always maintaining the highest priority. The role of First Officer is demanding, requires significant technical knowledge, yet offers substantial professional fulfilment.
Responsibilities:
- Operating King Air 350 aircraft for the calibration of navigation and approach systems, Flight Validation, and associated tasks.
- Executing precise flight manoeuvres according to predefined flight plans.
- Ensuring adherence to all legal and operational requirements related to the task.
- Assuming the duties of a Flight Validation Pilot to review and evaluate IFR flight procedures, following appropriate qualification.
- Supporting other crew members during operations.

Candidate Profile:
- Preferably possesses military flying experience and/or a completed technical or business administration degree, as well as an interest in utility aviation (VFR & IFR).
- Holds an EASA-FCL CPL(A) (with ATPL Theory Credit and MCC) or ATPL(A)-Lizenz license.
- Possesses valid background check (ZUP) according to §7 LuftSiG and a valid EASA Medical Class 1.
- Has completed an Advanced UPRT course as per FCL.720.A (b)(5) in conjunction with FCL.745.A.
- Demonstrates very good German language skills (ICAO Level 6) and good English language skills, both written and spoken (min. ICAO Level 4).
- Is proficient in using MS Office.

- Possesses good technical understanding and analytical thinking abilities.
