About the Role

Flexjet, a distinguished leader in private aviation, is actively recruiting a First Officer to join its esteemed flight operations team in the United States. This position is integral to providing exceptional private jet travel experiences to Flexjet aircraft owners, operating a modern fleet of private aircraft. The First Officer will contribute to a global operation that prioritizes premium service and safety, working collaboratively with colleagues across North America and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a flight crew member, functionally reporting to the Pilot-in-Command.
• Execute all flight duties and any specific assignments efficiently and professionally.
• Maintain a high standard of crew coordination, ensuring professional, efficient, and courteous conduct.
• Uphold duties and responsibilities as detailed in the Crew Flight Manual and Flight Deck Handbook.
• Interact with passengers, assisting with seating and luggage.
• Conduct pre-flight passenger briefings.
• Participate in emergency evacuations as required.
• Maintain a current medical certificate and report any potential medical conditions that could affect flight duties.
• Perform other assigned duties to support flight operations.

Requirements

• Must meet ATP minimums, including completion of the written exam and qualification for the check ride.
• A minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time is preferred.
• Possess a current 1st Class Medical certificate.
• Hold a valid Passport.
• Ability to obtain a CANPASS permit is required.
• Previous experience in Part 135/91K or corporate aircraft operations is desirable.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States and be able to travel internationally.
• Proficiency in Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 135, Part 91 Subpart K, and Part 91.
• Thorough understanding of FAA, ICAO, and international flight operations regulations.
• Demonstrated strong organizational and advanced multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Competency in using word processing, email, and web-based applications.
• A keen attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance.

Qualifications

• Military experience, Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time, turbine aircraft experience, and experience in Flexjet's fleet aircraft are considered advantageous.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Aviation Management, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.

Domicile Requirements

Candidates are required to reside in or be willing to relocate to an assigned domicile. They must be able to report to their domicile within two hours, irrespective of weather conditions, to meet owner responsiveness requirements. Commuting to and from the domicile will be at the company's expense and during scheduled days.
