The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking qualified pilots to join the Flight Program Operations team. This role supports a diverse range of critical missions, including the inspection of navigational aids, commissioning of new aviation equipment, cutting-edge research and development, and emergency response operations. As a Part 135 certificate holder, the FAA maintains operations across multiple locations, including Arlington, VA; Kennesaw, GA; Atlantic City, NJ; Battle Creek, MI; Oklahoma City, OK; Fort Worth, TX; Sacramento, CA; and Anchorage, AK.
Successful candidates will contribute to the safety and integrity of the national airspace system. Responsibilities involve operating aircraft in various weather conditions to support routine inspections, flight test new procedures, and conduct transportation and critical event response missions. Pilots in this program play a vital role in the oversight of the aviation industry and the advancement of avionics technology.
Candidates must possess the appropriate FAA pilot certificates and meet the following flight hour requirements:
Note: To qualify at the FV-J (FG-14) level, candidates must possess an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate AND an Airspace Inspection Pilot (ASIP) Credential.
