The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking qualified pilots to join its Flight Program Operations team. This organization plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and integrity of the national airspace system. Pilots perform diverse missions, including routine inspection of navigational aids, commissioning new equipment globally, conducting research, development, test, and evaluation of avionics, and supporting critical government transportation and response missions.
This position is part of a Part 135 certificate holder with primary office locations in Arlington, VA; Kennesaw, GA; Atlantic City, NJ; Battle Creek, MI; Oklahoma City, OK; Fort Worth, TX; Sacramento, CA; and Anchorage, AK.

Note: To qualify at the FV-J (FG-14) level, applicants must possess an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP) and an Airspace Inspection Pilot (ASIP) Credential.

While formal KSA narratives are not required, candidates must include specific examples within their work history that demonstrate their ability to meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position. Positions are filled under the FAA Core Compensation plan. Promotion potential exists if filled at the FV-I level to the FV-J level, subject to qualification and training requirements.
