Minimum Requirements for A320 Captains
Prospective candidates must meet the following essential criteria:
- A minimum of 3,500 total flight hours accumulated.
- A minimum of 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours accrued specifically on the Airbus A320 Family aircraft.
- Possession of a current, valid A320 Type Rating.
- Possession of a current FAA, ICAO, or EASA Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- A preference is given to Captains whose last flight on the A320 was within the last nine (9) months.
- *Note: Applicants who do not meet the 9-month recency requirement but possess a current B787 Type Rating or Operator Proficiency Check (OPC) are encouraged to apply and notify the recruiter.
