About the Role

Vietnam Airlines is seeking experienced A350 Captains to join its expanding operations. Successful candidates will be based in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, with roles commencing early 2026. This direct entry position offers flexible roster patterns, commute or non-commute options, and access to flight tickets across the airline's network.

Requirements

• Minimum 5000 total flight hours.
• Minimum 2000 total Pilot in Command (PIC) hours.
• Minimum 1000 A350 PIC hours.
• Recent A350 flight experience within the last 9 months is preferred, though flexibility may be considered.
• A valid ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) is mandatory.
• A current and valid A350 type rating is required.
• The A350 Operational Proficiency Check (OPC) must remain valid for a minimum of 2 months from the employment start date.
• Possession of a valid Class 1 Medical certificate.
• English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 or above.
• Height requirement: above 165cm for males and above 160cm for females.
• Age restriction: under 58 years of age for males and under 53 years of age for females.

Qualifications

• Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
• A350 Type Rating.
