Job Title: Pilot in Command (PIC) – Gulfstream 450

Executive Jet Management is seeking a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Gulfstream 450 based in Houston, TX (KCXO). This two-pilot account supports an owner who values professionalism, preparation, and consistency. The role offers a dynamic yet well-supported environment with approximately 300 flight hours annually, operating under both Part 91 and Part 135. The account structure prioritizes operational consistency, quality of life, and schedule predictability.

The PIC serves as the final authority for all flight operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance. This individual acts as a representative of the organization, demonstrating sound judgment and high professional standards while delivering an exceptional experience to owners and passengers.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Flight Operations: Ensure all assignments comply with company and regulatory requirements. Perform flight planning, weight and balance, and pre-flight maintenance inspections. Lead briefings using the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology and mitigate operational risks.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), perform as the Ground and In-Flight Security Coordinator, and maintain accurate records of aircraft discrepancies. Monitor ground servicing (fueling, oxygen, etc.) and utilize CRM and TEM for effective communication.
  • Service Excellence: Deliver premium service, resolve service deviations, and collaborate with crew and support teams to meet passenger needs.
  • Professional Maintenance: Maintain all regulatory and company-required training, recency of experience, and actively participate in the company SMS program.

Requirements and Qualifications

Certifications and Licenses

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
  • FAA Type rating in applicable fleet (GIV, GV, GVI, GVII, or comparable airframe).

Experience and Minimum Flight Time

  • 4–6 years of professional aviation experience.
  • Prior experience in corporate/business aviation (heavy-cabin Gulfstream experience preferred).
  • Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours.
  • Pilot in Command (PIC): 2,000 hours.
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours.
  • PIC MEL: 500 hours.
  • Jet Time: 500 hours.
  • Instrument Time: 300 hours.
