Pilot in Command - Gulfstream G600
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Gulfstream 600 aircraft based in Boca Raton (KBCT). This position is part of a three-pilot team, supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician and Cabin Attendant, operating under Part 91 regulations. The PIC holds ultimate responsibility for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft while delivering an exceptional service experience.
The successful candidate will provide flight support to a family with a long-standing history of aircraft ownership. The aircraft primarily operates on domestic routes with one or two international trips annually. While no set schedule exists, the three-pilot rotation is designed to promote a healthy work-life balance. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, service-oriented, a strong team player, and possesses a keen attention to detail.
Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to South Florida, as this is not a home-based position. To be considered, applicants must hold a type rating and possess significant experience in one of the following heavy-cabin Gulfstream models: GV, GVI, or GVII. Strong preference will be given to candidates with a GVII type rating.
Minimum Requirements:
- 8-10 years of prior experience in corporate or business aviation.
- FAA Type rating in applicable fleet (GV, GVI, or GVII). GVII preferred.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land: 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
