Pilot in Command - G650
Executive Jet Management, a subsidiary of NetJets and a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a qualified and experienced Pilot in Command for a G650 aircraft based in Opa-locka, FL (KOPF), near Miami. This role offers the opportunity to transition to a GVIII-G700 type rating in the future. This is a Part 91 operation supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician and Cabin Attendant.
The Pilot in Command holds ultimate responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. He ensures adherence to all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience to passengers.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures the safe operation of flight, adhering to all regulatory and company requirements.
- Completes flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks.
- Conducts thorough briefings utilizing Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks.
- Complies with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates effectively with company personnel.
- Performs comprehensive pre-flight checks, including maintenance status, and accurately records discrepancies.
- Manages aircraft ground servicing, ensuring proper fueling, oil, and oxygen levels.
- Delivers passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulations, providing the highest level of customer service and addressing special needs.
- Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to facilitate clear and timely communication during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Provides exceptional service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
- Collaborates with crew members and internal partners to deliver a consistent service experience, resolving conflicts constructively.
- Maintains proficiency and compliance with all regulatory and company-required training.
- Complies with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and reports safety or non-compliance concerns appropriately.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in aviation. Corporate/business aviation experience is preferred.
- FAA Type rating in applicable fleet (G650).
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
Minimum Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
